Trash Not Only to Treasure, But Also to Homes for the Homeless

Gregory Kloehn used to go dumpster diving to create artwork.  Now he dumpster dives to provide homes for the homeless.  His creations are about the same dimensions as a couch and are equipped with wheels and a pitched roof.  He would like to teach others how to do the same to provide more shelters to homeless people everywhere. http://www.quickmeme.com/p/3vw4dt   To start a local group of people to build shelters for homeless, click here.

Getting Past the Propaganda: the Truth about Palestine and Israel

Part 1:  This portion will address only the first minute of the following video: The Israel-Arab conflict – on one foot Post by The Jewish Standard.   After announcing his impressive credentials, this commentator, explains that the Middle East conflict is the easiest conflict to explain.  With five minutes left in the video, I’m excited to know that all of the answers can be explained to so quickly.  I continue to listen with anticipation.  He starts off by stating that one side wants the other side dead.  The graphics show that the Arab is bad and the Israeli is dead. …continue reading

Economic Hitman

This is straight from IMF whistleblower John Perkins, a self-proclaimed economic hitman. What can be said about a man who changed the fate of an entire country for the worse? Many appreciate John Perkins for coming clean about his involvement in a corrupt system…and more importantly, explaining this system to the world. I’m not so generous. While I appreciate the information, I’d much rather this be made public from a good, honest person who backed …continue reading

Take Action to Save the Honeybees

Take action to save the honey bee

Each Person Can Make a Difference: Understand the effects of pesticides on bees so you are not tricked by the propaganda. This is one of many studies that explain the effects of pesticides on honeybees. I’m including it because it shows that the kill is not immediate but rather results from a: http://www.plosone.org/article/info%3Adoi%2F10.1371%2Fjournal.pone.0030023 Don’t expect the EPA to protect the honeybee, or anything else for that matter. There’s a revolving door between many government agencies and corporations like Monsanto. Because of this policy of greed and profit, concerns for safety go out the window. Research products which should be avoided and …continue reading

I’m starting this section with an article about robotic bees for a reason. It shows the urgency of the subject at hand. People have known for years that the honeybee populations are declining. But it really hits home when the discussion is redirected to a well-respected university and their race to come up with a programmed piece of metal to replace this delicate creature. My daughter and I went out for a leisurely lunch today. To her dismay, I polled a few men to see if they would believe that Harvard University was creating robotic bees. It’s one of the …continue reading
